The Power of (1) ONE

Happy Tuesday readers ! I am happy that you people spared your time to reach out to my post . What is very particular about Tuesday ? Haa may be It is also an another day in a week , that's it and nothing special in that . But I hope that this post may change the air around you for some minutes , kinda a little break from your daily chores/routine. Without consuming much of your time here goes my Thought Register Series. 

This Tuesday is all about the "ONE" . Yes , you heard it right ! I gonna write about the digit 1, the value of 1, the ultimate power of 1. 

What is making this number 1 very special/dangerous ? Is that depends upon individual's perspective ? Don't panic. I am not going to bore you with mathematically hyped terms. 1 is the visible source of life . 1 is the pioneer of science . 1 is the most cruel non-living invention in this universe . 1 is the most sought after throne in this world . We can pile up things/attributes of 1 even to the height of Mount Everest. 

Sounds crazy nah ? Yes it is , but it is not ! Seems like that I was obsessed with S J Suryah films last night ? NO...down to the end of this post you will be able to figure out WHY ?

Moving on , 

Our daily day depends on that ONE decision we take , which may make a day or even break a day...

That ONE moment in life will make you a good person or break you as the worst person in front of your soul mirror...

That ONE ounce of hot drinks becomes the forefather of your health issues/degradation in your future life...

That ONE choice we make between eating healthy and taking up fast food reflects an effect in our life style...

That ONE minute pleasure of a smoker affects her/him as well as leading to many passive victims of it...

That ONE inch Run-Out of Captain Cool M S Dhoni shattered millions of hearts across borders...

That ONE last communication with Chandrayaan II's Vikram Lander...

So is the number ONE that cruel ... that arrogant ... that dangerous ? NOT NECESSARILY !...

That ONE movement of planting trees changed the world more greener , healthier , more sustainable for human living...

That ONE helicopter shot of M S Dhoni brought India the Cricket World Cup back home...

That ONE brave decision of our front liners helps India to be safe , healthy and peace prevails across borders...

That ONE smile from your crush boost up your hope X million times...

That ONE pat from your friend gives you a meaning to your life/ repairs you physically/mentally...

That ONE extra reps during your workout session helps you in getting back to shape...

That ONE life changing turning point makes miracles after that in your entire life...

That ONE spark of aggressiveness helping great minds to crack a spot as one of the fortune 100s/500s business legacy...

Continuing...

That ONE _____ makes you a super human or breaks you into pieces !

And so on...

Do you think that , Am I blabbering ???

Hmm...NO I AM NOT ! Yes , I could prove it mathematically and graphically

Brace yourself champs ! Pull out your long lost calculator.  

We all know that 1 raised to 1 is equal to 1. 
In simple terms ,

(1) ^ 1 = 1

Now calculate this

(1 + 1%) ^ 365 = 37.7834343329

Now here goes the last one

(1 - 1%) ^ 365 = 0.0255179644523

Most of the minds reading out there might have guessed what the calculation and figures are all about ! Yes , It is all about one's day to day betterment and decrement.If we start improving ourselves 1% every day , we will be 37 times better than what we were an year back . If we degrade ourselves 1% everyday , we will be 0.03 times worse than what we were an year back . The percentage of decline may seem to be smaller in value but when compounded for years will really yield the worst version of ourselves.It is clearly depicted in the image below
